Tribal Vision is an invitation, not an entity. Everyone that arrives is responsible for their own camp. By law and for the preservation of nature, you must pack in and pack out all trash and debris as well as have a safe latrine or bathroom organized by your camp.

Please be respectful of neighbors and drive slowly on the road going into the site as there are farms and families on the way that have deep roots and relationship to the land. We do not want to disturb or offend them nor attract unwanted attention to our gathering. We are all going camping with friends. :)

DIRECTIONS

Service is very spotty along 518 and 75, please screenshot the directions below before you leave service so that you do not get lost once you are in the mountains.

Head South on 518/ High Road to Taos. Take a sharp turn onto 75 W and continue through Vadito and Penasco. Turn left onto State Road 73 towards Las Trampas. Look on your right for a sign pointing to Santa Barbara Canyon/Hodges Campground and turn LEFT on Santa Barbara road. Continue all the way until the end and go down/right at the fork in the road.* Continue straight once you reach the next fork to reach base camp. Once you are set up, please go back to the second fork and turn left (coming from base camp) and park your car at Hodges Campground.

From Santa Fe:

Head West on 84 and turn right on High Road to Taos/Juan Medina Rd. Follow signs to continue on High Road to Taos until Penasco and turn right on State Road 73 towards Las Trampas.

*If you continue along Santa Barbara Road, you will start going uphill and end up at Santa Barbara Campground and you have gone too far. Turn around and turn left to go down the hill into Hodges Campground, where there are meadows and running water. May you find us with ease!
