Description: The practice of journeying with the drum to receive insight, engage in healing, and communicate with Spirit has been around for centuries and has traversed the world over. 

In this ceremony we will go over the three worlds of the shamanic journey space.

We will invite the benevolent beings of the seven sacred directions in before the journey to help guide our way and encircle us in a shield of light and healing. These elements all support and amplify the beauty of the sacred drum journey as we embark with the Buffalo drum on a healing journey to the Spirit World, where the benevolent Angels, Guides, Teachers, Spirit Animals, and Ancestors reside to support you in your intention for self growth. There we will release and receive the blessings and insights that illuminate and further propel us on our path to living our highest truth.

To get the most out of the drum journey, fast a couple hours beforehand and eat lightly throughout the day. As always,listen to your body's needs.

Carmina Rodriguez

Carmina radiates compassion into everything she does and is always leading from the heart. For her, the practice of Yoga became one of self-study- that in which steered her towards a deeper understanding of the physical body and in turn illuminated her connection with the mind, emotional body, and spirit.

Her classes are alignment based, formulated with intention, constructive sequencing, with an offering of hands on adjustments and space for self-inquiry. She weaves in pranayama, meditation, and mantra accompanied with a harmonium in the practice. Her overall intention for her classes is to create a safe space for students to listen deeply to their bodies, hearts, and minds, through stillness, and discover a quality of intimacy with themselves and ultimately with the world around them.

She is eternally grateful to all of her teachers and mentors, and for all of the wisdom that was passed down to her. She completed her 200HR Teacher Training, at Daya Yoga Studio in 2016, in Brooklyn, New York, a 25HR Alignment and Therapeutics Training at Laughing Lotus, and a 30HR Yin Yoga Training with Alana Kessler, and has been attuned by Nicole Lynne Hooley, to Reiki 2.

She teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, and offers group and private classes in Taos, New Mexico where she currently resides.

Join Magnetik Moon for a dance ritual.  Tribal Belly Dance Flow is a dance experience blending sacred movement, breathwork and healing. It is a sensual fluid style of belly dance that focuses on muscle isolations, percussive movements, fluidity, shimmies, vibrations and tutts.  It encompasses elements of traditional belly dance, serpentine, tribal style, hip hop and modern dance.  It conditions the body, releases stored energy in the hips, improves posture, prevents back injuries, strengthens your legs, arms, back and brings balance.

Class begins with a meditative crystal healing stretch and flows into full body drills and a combination.  From Middle Eastern mash ups, Tribal Trap to Psychedelic Bass…we channel the divine sounds while learning to move with intention and confidence.

Don Diego and Isabel are workshop facilitators from the Sacred Circles Tradition. Elsa Le Torrivellec

is an intuitive energy healer embodied in a french woman. She moved to Mexico a decade ago and that’s when this magic land awaken her own power. She followed the Red Path from North American Traditions as a moon dancer and vision seeker.  The Moon Dance teachings unleashed her joy for singing. Now singing and drumming is her medecine, her pray and one of her favorite thing to do. She trusts the power of the circle, and the power of using our voice consciously. 

She usually works with the elements and Mayan Toltec traditions, leading women circles and different kinds of workshops.

Studying Astrology brought her a deeper understanding of the physical Universe and how magical it is to connect to and use the energy of the planets to move forward in life.

Magnetik Moon, is a choreographer, DJ, producer. Raised in a family of musicians and dancers, she started dancing at the age of 3 with ballet and tap then into jazz,modern and hip hop. With flare and a funky style, she immersed herself into the hip hop scene which drew her to the city life of Atlanta, GA. It was there that she grew as a performer and freestyle dancer and evolved as a teacher and choreographer. She opened and managed several of the largest and most successful dance studios in the country. She choreographed music videos and toured with American Idol star, Diana Degarmo. Magnetik started DJ’ing in 2010 with breaks, drum and bass and dubstep on the east coast.Moon started belly dance training in 2014. She fell in love with serpentine and tribal styles. She began fusing hip hop and belly dance into a very unique style of her own. Moon landed in Colorado in 2016. It is here that she grew as a flow artist, tribal fusion dancer, fire spinner and fans performer. She’s performed at Red Rocks, The Fox Theater, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, The Mishawaka , The Black Box with artists such as David Starfire, An-ten-nae, Soohan, Veil, A hundred Drums, Moon Frog, Om Unit, Random Rab and Drumspyder. She has taught workshops and performed at local festivals Sonic Bloom, Arise, Shamanic Boom, Blissfall and Elevated Frequencies. Moon currently offers classes in Lafayette and Louisville Colorado. She is director of Gold Dust Tribe, a belly dance fusion performance art troupe that cultivates art through sound, sacred movement and vision. Gold Dust’s unique fusion of tribal style bellydance, hip hop, tutts and flow artistry, delivers a powerful performance full of enchantment and flair.

Healing the Healer

Overview #1: In Part One of Healing the Healer, we explore ways we can apply exquisite self-

care to unwind our conditioned traumas through the power of love, imagination and massage.

Overview #2: In Part Two of Healing the Healer series, we will use the power of sound and massage to heal so as to be more fully able to express our gifts in the world.

#1 Self-healing through the power of love, imagination and bodywork

(Create the container: Providing a short overview of what we’re about to do in this next 1.5

hours. Include honoring self and other: Respecting boundaries in energy and bodywork. Opting out, taking care of oneself) 

2 minutes of introduction and showcasing what we will be covering in presentation- trauma, vulnerability, chakras and alignment.

20 minutes …Exquisite self-care and embodied awareness. Why it’s crucial, what it is (the science behind the power of our imagination and the power of love), when to do it, and offer two experiential exercises:

1. Self to self and 2. Corrective Experience. Musicians play softly or participate. 

5 minutes- Hannah- talk about boundaries, setting them with oneself and others

10 minutes - Massage talk about opening of chakras w/ body work, how to heal trauma and/ or addiction through massage  (examples by Hannah) Talking about how going through massage school and getting regular massages has helped me be more in body and not disassociate as much, heal ( and

still healing)  from ptsd

5 minute - meditation of noticing what is coming up in your body, which body parts are you noticing, are they attached to any memories, did anything pop up in your field? (music playing during)

10 minutes- partner massage if desired, or self massage if not comfortable with other- Have you/your partner focus in on a body part that you felt was carrying some trauma, emotions, and have them massage it- make up your own techniques, does not have to be specific. But focus in throughout the massage and check in with how one is feeling specifically tied to that part of yourself. partner check in and discuss, go around the group and say one word/ feeling/emotion that came up for you in that specific part of body…? (people can choose to pass if they dont wish to be a part of conversation)

20 minutes – Integration. We lead call and response chants, encourage participants into movement and chanting to  supporting energy flow

15 minutes – Closing summary about what we just did. Situations/times to use the techniques. Sharing.
